New Pruftechnik ROTALIGN Touch is the first laser shaft alignment system on the market to combine high precision on-site measuring tasks and cloud connectivity for worldwide data access and transfer. It features the unique sensALIGN 7 laser and sensor heads offering a full range of everyday alignment routines up to expert degree alignment jobs – such as cardan shaft alignment or coupling alignment. The single-laser technology enables unrivaled precision, even in harshest conditions and on highly demanding jobs. ROTALIGN touch was designed by some of the world’s leading alignment experts to solve problems in the easiest way possible. The intuitively guided user interface can be operated by almost anyone – users just need to follow the three steps for any laser shaft alignment procedure: dimension, measure, and result.
This device is made for maximum durability in extreme working conditions. It is IP65 waterproof and dust-proof, dirt, scratch and temperature resistant. It is also fully shock and impact tested.
ROTALIGN touch is the first laser shaft alignment tool fully designed to meet the requirements of industrial IoT with RFID, Wi-Fi, and cloud data transfer.
With the ALIGNMENT RELIABILITY CENTER 4.0 software, work orders may be sent via the cloud to a mobile ROTALIGN touch unit anywhere in the world. Measurement results are sent back straight from the unit into the alignment software for monitoring and advanced reporting. Asset-specific work orders and RFID machine identification make it possible to track the alignment of individual assets over time (alignment trend), making alignment data a dynamic condition monitoring parameter for asset management and condition-based maintenance programs.
Technology
The sensALIGN Series technology is based on the inherent PRUFTECHNIK single-laser technology providing highly precise measurement results and easiest mounting and measuring in the field. sensALIGN 7 sensors include two HD large position-sensitive detectors (PSD) and MEMS inclinometers. Combined with the detector extension capability (InfiniRange), it is always possible to measure and document the initial alignment condition; no matter how big is the misalignment. Furthermore, this technology allows the simultaneous monitoring of the machine corrections in vertical and horizontal directions, starting from any angular position where the sensor comes to stop.
With sensALIGN 7, the door to the toughest alignment applications opens wide. Intelligent alignment features make it possible to approach complex alignments with serenity: intelliSWEEP filters out any poor measurement data due to difficult measuring conditions.

A new way to align – Laser alignment tool for the smart factory
ROTALIGN® touch is the first cloud-enabled touchscreen laser shaft alignment system with integrated mobile connectivity.
With ROTALIGN® touch, alignment trend is fully integrated into your asset management and condition-based maintenance programs.
Maintenance and Reliability managers can remotely prepare alignment jobs in the alignment software and connect to the Cloud to transfer them to a ROTALIGN® touch device, anywhere in the world. Alignment technicians receive alignment jobs directly on their ROTALIGN® touch device. Once completed, the jobs can be uploaded wirelessly back to the Cloud.
A direct connection from the ROTALIGN® touch to the alignment software is also possible.
Built-in RFID machine identification and asset-specific jobs make it possible to track the alignment condition of individual assets over time. The alignment trend provides meaningful information and can be used as a condition monitoring parameter to diagnose machine condition even more accurately.
With the onboard camera alignment reports can easily be supplemented with pictures for easier knowledge transfer.

The unique intelliSWEEP® sensor technology enables continuous measurements and real-time quality for precise, accurate and repeatable results. The intelliSWEEP® HD measurement mode automatically detects and eliminates sources of measurement errors such as coupling play, rotational angle or environmental vibration.
As shaft rotates, hundreds of real measurement points are taken automatically. The results are far more accurate than those based on 3 measurement positions.
